Zaca Mesa Winery | Alexandra and Matthew

Santa Barbara’s wine country proudly boasts so many romantic venue options, but what hails couples most to this special area just over the mountains is generally the gorgeous vineyards and wineries which provide a highly unique backdrop and event experience.
Located in the charming wine country township area of Los Olivos rests family-owned Zaca Mesa Winery, offering several special event areas, including their Vineyard Lawn (3 sides of it surrounded by vineyards), to their gorgeous View Room with a neutral color scheme, gorgeous chandeliers and tall glass doors with vineyard views.  And since no winery event would be complete without some outdoor aspect, here’s a helpful planning tip:  while it can be scorching hot by day in the summer, the temperatures fall significantly come dusk. Having ample heaters is an essential part of the event plan for any vineyard event.

Every event has its stories that provide memories, and this one was no exception.  Sometimes unexpected happenings lead to gifts that become great stories.  Due to some technical difficulties with the music, guests ended up singing the First Dance to the newlyweds.  Between that, friends and family gathering for celebration and some sumptuous fare (the tri-tip carving station was a huge hit), dancing under the stars amongst the vineyards, some fabulous moments were made that are sure to be remembered.
We were thrilled to be working with Alexandra and Matthew in producing their special day at such a gorgeous site.
