The Santa Barbara Riviera is named such because of its views combining the Santa Ynez Mountain Range with ocean vistas including the Channel Islands and sweeping coastline. With all the special event venues available to couples, there is no shortage of beachside and ocean view sites.
One of the most unique oceanside wedding and event locations includes The Santa Barbara Maritime Museum, which is nestled right at the iconic Santa Barbara Harbor. Guests may enjoy learning more about Santa Barbara’s maritime history at a location that also allows them to take a leisurely stroll out the front door and along side the breakwater (but stay alert: crashing waves have been known to splash pedestrians, depending on the tide and weather conditions).
Jordan and Anthony chose to exchange vows at the sunken gardens of The Santa Barbara Courthouse and then make their way down to the harbor for a fabulous reception at the Maritime Museum. We especially loved the Farmer’s Market Station as part of their wedding menu story, including the freshest farm ingredients and produce locally -sourced here in Santa Barbara.
