Experience Santa Barbara Catering & Artistry for Yourself

Courtney and Josh’s Ojai Private Home Wedding

A Santa Barbara wedding includes all the wonderful areas surrounding it.  Just south of Santa Barbara up the mountains from Ventura is the charming mountain village of Ojai.  Known for “pink moment” sunsets that paint all the mountains in a pink hue, Ojai has one world-class resort, a few small inns and a community of lovely homes.   Courtney and Josh chose to say their vows and celebrate in their private home with a classic Chevy Impala.  Can you say sexy?

The lively menu celebrating the Spanish heritage of California also was conveyed in the tablescape decor with bright colors reminiscent of summer and celebration.

Suzy and Paul’s Unitarian Wedding

Santa Barbara’s  beloved Unitarian Church provides a beautiful, sacred place to exchange vows and also convenience, offering a site for a memorable reception following the ceremony.  Centrally located in Santa Barbara, guests will find ample parking as well as access to several of the city’s most beautiful parks, which they can explore just across the street from the church prior to ceremony start time.

We loved being Suzy and Paul’s wedding caterer and providing a delicious dinner with some of our specialty items and customer favorites!

“Out of this world” Star Wars-themed Nuptials for Angelina & Mark

There are those who really like Star Wars.  And then there are those who love Star Wars to the point that having Storm Troopers present at their wedding was not an option, it was a necessity.

Angelina and Mark chose one of Santa Barbara’s wedding venue gems:  The Santa Barbara Woman’s Club, also known as Rockwood.  Wedding Planner Burlap and Bordeaux made their Star Wars dream come alive with special personal touches that brought in a galactic theme without being kitschy.  We loved working with Angelina and Mark in creating their perfect wedding menu, signature cocktails (check out The Dark Side, The Force and Endor  below) and more.

When Monarch Wealth Strategies decided to celebrate their 10 year business anniversary, we were there to ensure they celebrated in style.   The Moxi Museum downtown Santa Barbara is a highly unique and memorable venue.  Their rooftop affords gorgeous vistas of our American Riviera and is conveniently located for guests staying in Santa Barbara or nearby.

With Ventura Rental Party & Events providing the rentals, we were delighted to be a part of this rooftop celebration.  All photos by Joshua Shelly.

Chris & Michael’s Vineyard Nuptials and Glowing Winery Barrel Room Celebration

People come from all over the world to Santa Barbara’s wine country, the Santa Ynez Valley to try incredible wines and take in the views and varietals our region has to offer.  Firestone Winery, one of the area’s premiere wineries and vineyard wedding locations offers wedding couples and their guests a full winery wedding experience.  In addition to getting married overlooking the sprawling vines, guests can enjoy a sumptuous wedding feast in the iconic Firestone Barrel Room, followed by dancing under the stars outdoors in a courtyard reminiscent of something you would see at a private estate in Tuscany or Provence.

Chris and Michael chose to take advantage of every single gorgeous space at Firestone Winery, and coupled with a magnificent dinner menu fit for royalty (check out the whole menu below – but in particular the dessert!) , this wedding was lavishly appointed from start to finish.

We were delighted to be a part of this wedding celebration and wish Chris and Michael congratulations on their new married journey together!

Vince and John’s Intimate, Private Estate Wedding

Not all the weddings we do are hundreds of guests in grand venues.  In fact, some of the most “epic” weddings we’ve done have been more intimate and the focus was on celebrating with closest family and friends.

Vince and John chose to do such a celebration and focus on the closeness of their love for their family and friends, as well as each other.  Their wedding menu (below) was a great success (check out the Chicken Breast with Pecan Apricot Stuffing, which was a particular hit) and their wedding cake from Chooket.  They feasted on deliciousness and amazing company while the melodies of guitarist Tony Ybarra filled the air celebrating their nuptials.

Congratulations, Vince and John!

Lorrana and Jacob’s Santa Barbara Historical Museum Wedding Celebration

The Santa Barbara Historical Museum offers a warm and wonderful taste of historic Santa Barbara with its Spanish influence, and as the sun sets,  lights showcase the architecture, and stars overhead come out to play, guests are in for a beautiful Santa Barbara wedding experience.  Conveniently located downtown Santa Barbara, many of our couples find that their guests can stay at one of the lovely local hotels and walk to and from the wedding celebration at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum.

And one of our signature service items for our wedding couples always includes saved appetizers and drinks for the bride and groom during their post-ceremony photos.  We don’t want them to miss one bit of deliciousness during their cocktail hour!   We will either bring them their hors d’oeuvres, or ensure we save some and place them at their dinner setting (see photo below).  Our goal is for everyone to enjoy the fruits of their hard planning and menu choices for their special day.

Congratulations, Lorrana and Jacob!

Kailin and Phillip’s Firestone Winery Wedding

Stop.  Before we talk about the magic of the vineyards at Golden Hour in Santa Barbara’s wine country, will you look at Bride Kailin’s wedding dress? If it were us, we would probably be twirling in it all night.  It was truly made with magic- and perhaps even some fairy dust – as she (and her groom Phillip) seemed to just float all evening.   This wedding is scheduled to be featured on a national wedding blog publication soon, so check back soon for the link, where you will be able to see even more photos and detail.

For now, the imagery of nuptials in front of age-old oak trees with the Firestone vineyards whispering in the background, impeccable special touches and thoughts to detail throughout, including a romantic vintage car getaway – and all of this basking in the light of Golden Hour – should be enough to inspire you.

Update:  this wedding was recently featured on Style Me Pretty!

Kim and Rich’s Santa Barbara Beachside Wedding at Cabrillo Arts Pavilion

America’s Riviera wouldn’t be known as such if it wasn’t situated on a gorgeous coastline with dreamy views of the Channel and its signature islands.  No wonder so many couples inquire about their dream beach wedding in Santa Barbara!  There are very few places where you can get married right on the sand and then immediately enjoy dinner and dancing with ocean views within steps of where you married.  We love weddings at the Cabrillo Arts Pavilion for this very reason and it is an ideal Santa Barbara beach wedding locale.
