Lauren and Matthew couldn’t have picked a more idyllic setting on a more beautiful Santa Barbara day to celebrate their wedding with family and friends. The whole intimate affair was on a lush private family estate in Santa Barbara. After a heartwarming outdoor ceremony, the guests were treated to specialty cocktails chosen by the couple – Appletinis and Chocolate Martinis. Also, a lovely selection of passed hors d’oeuvres kept the tummys from grumbling while family pictures were taken and the guests mingled. Since most of the guests were family and close personal friends of the family, one got the sense that this was also a family reunion with lots of animated chatter and laughter. Once the dining space was ready, we invited the guests around to the the back garden for dinner and dancing. The menu was robust with carved to order New York Sirloin with Horseradish and Cabernet Sauce, Herb Roasted Chicken with Lemon Thyme Jus, Sun-dried Tomato and Artichoke Pasta, Roasted Asparagus Spears, Classic Caesar Salad, and Blue Cheese and Walnut Salad with Champagne Vinaigrette. The servers offered both red and white wines to the guests during dinner and poured a lovely sparkling wine for the Champagne Toast after the guests were seated and enjoying the feast. Til’ Death Do Us Part – Cabrillo Arts CenterThis was the theme of the evening for Lisset and Henry’s Wedding – Til’ Death Do Us Part at the Santa Barbara Cabrillo Arts Center. In a tongue and cheek homage to getting hitched, Lisset and Henry chose pink and black as their colors provided by Discount Party Rentals, with Skeletons sprinkled throughout the event. From the Groom’s tie to the beautiful cake done by Teresa at A Piece of Cake, these touches can be found. Coordinated by Sarah at Montecito Weddings, the beachside ceremony with 150 guests was simple and gorgeous.
